About Tavin

We feel so blessed to had the opportunity to adopted Tavin. Tavin's birthmother found us from our LDSFS profile and we spent a lot of time communicating with her before he was born.  We learned to love and respect her and are still humbled by the decision she made to place him with us. A week after his due date he was finally born on Christmas Eve. We had placement two days later and it was such a spiritual experience for all of us.  We have been able to maintain wonderful relationship with Tavin's birthmother and are forever grateful for her and the gift she gave us. We feel so fortunate to have Tavin in our lives and know that he will make a wonderful older brother.


































This photo was taken at placement right after Tavin's birthmother placed him in our arms. She made a stocking and put him in it and he was also wearing a Santa suit.  He was the best Christmas present we have ever received!
